How quickly do you respond to emails? Do you have weekend hours?

We generally respond within 24 hrs. Office hours- Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm EST. Customer Service is currently not available on Saturdays and Sundays

Is it cultural appropriation to wear D’IYANU products if you’re not African or of African descent?

We welcome people of all backgrounds interested in celebrating the African diaspora to wear our products. Our founder Addie Ajayi launched D’IYANU with the goal of sharing her rich Nigerian heritage with people who love bold African prints and appreciate its origin.

What size Gele should I order?

Gele comes in 3 main sizes. Take a look at our sizing guide to find the size that will fit. Also, each gele will have a sizing information on the individual product page. That sizing information should be for that exact product

Are your items true to size?

Yes, our items typically run true to size. You can view our size chart at the following link.

How to get the right size?

Pick the right size most of the headpiece and dresses are one size fits with velco fastening at the back of the gele. Please refer to size guide on each product size info tab.

Do you restock sold out items?

We are always updating our inventory with new styles and occasionally may restock sold out items. If you are interested in purchasing an item that's currently unavailable, please contact us at Readygele.co.uk and we will advise you if an item will be restocked or discontinued. If the item will be restocked, we'll provide you with the estimated arrival time frame.

Can I Send my Gele material for upcycle services?

Yes, you can, contact us to send your drop off material and include new design for your material.

How long does it take to rework?

Two weeks from the date of reciving the item.

Do you have a shop?

At this time we do not have a shop. The only location where all our brands and products are available is online at Readygele.co.uk

Where is readygele based?

Readygele is based in the UK and all items are stored and shipped from our UK production.

What type of payment does Readygele accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro cards. We also accept payments via PayPal. Sorry, we do not accept cheques.

What makes readygele.co.uk secure?

SSL Technology: We use the industry standard (SSL) server which is the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. All of your information including credit card and personal information is encrypted. This means no one else can read it!

I forgot to use my coupon code for my purcahse can I claim it back after?

Unfortunately after an order is dispatched we can no longer refund on Coupon Codes.

How long will it take to process and deliver my order?

We aim to ship all orders within 1 business day, except for pre-orders. Delivery times depend on your location and selected shipping method. Standard shipping within the U.S. typically takes 4-7 business days, with expedited options available. International shipping generally takes 7-10 business days, though customs delays may occur. How do I set up an account to place an order?

Do I get your newsletters when I register?

Yes. When you register you will be part of our mailing list, this will give you all the updates, let you know about new models and sample sales.

Once I register do you share my information to 3rd parties?

No. We will never share your information with 3rd parties.

Can you take me off your mailing list?

Please click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of our newsletters to be removed from the mailing list.

How can I be on your mailing list?

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept paypal, all major credit and debit cards.
Custom and personalized orders?

Yes, we do custom order based on customer request. You can send pictures explaining how you want your order. Ideas are welcome. we do Asoebi too with your budget in mind. Please contact us.

Can i wrap my purchased gift?

We have for him and for her signature readygele packaging and ribbon with a personal note as a special touch.

Is bulk order available?

Yes, we do Bulk with minimum order of 6 items and maybe different items.

Do you offer wholesale?

We aren't currently offering wholesale at this time, however, you can email us at [email protected] for bulk pricing.

Do you restock limited print items?

Once our limited print items are out of stock, they will not be reproduced. So, make sure to get it before it’s sold out!

How will my order be delivered?

Ready gele offers a range of delivery methods which you are able to select during the checkout process. These include Royal Mail 2nd Class, 1st Class Delivery and next working day and weekend courier deliveries.

Can I track my order?

Yes, if you have purchased a tracked service you can track your order using the chat box instant track my order or in your shipping notification email.

What happens if i am not home when my package is delivered?

Our couriers will leave a card explaining where your package is and also provide the package tracking number. Our courier, DPD, will email you to let you know what time slot your package will be delivered (within a two hour slot) and you can either arrange somebody to be there at that time or reply to the email to arrange an alternative delivery date. Couriers may also attempt delivery to a neighbour.

My order have not arrived where is it?

Very few orders should be delayed but the most common delays we note are: 1. an attempted delivery has been made but no-one was in (a card should always be left by the courier to notify you of this), 2. bad weather or strike action has created delays. If you wish you can call our Customer Service Hotline quoting your order number and our staff will happily check the progress of your parcel.

Do you deliver to BFPO address?

Yes we do. Please select one of the Royal Mail shipping options for BFPO addresses.

Do you allow returns and exchanges?

Yes, we allow the return and exchange of unworn and unwashed items that were not on clearance during the time of purchase if we receive them within 30 days after it was delivered to you. Do I have to pay for returning my goods if I would like an exchange or refund?

Yes, if you are returning for an exchange or refund you will need to cover the postal costs back to readygele. You can also use a company of your choice. We would suggest a tracked service to ensure we can track that your package has arrived at our warehouse. If you are returning a faulty or wrong product, we will refund the postage.

How long does it take to process my Refund?

All refunds should take no more than 2 working days from when your item(s) arrives back to readygele. Please allow for a further 5 days for the refund to show up in your bank account as this will vary.

Can I exchange for a different style?

Unfortunately we are unable to process exchanges to different styles. If you would like a different Item from what you have ordered, we recommend placing a brand new order and returning the original order for a refund.

What do I do if I have received a faulty product or the wrong item?

Please call our Customer Service team to confirm the details of the order. In the unlikely event that we have sent the faulty or wrong item, we will arrange for a new item to be sent out. Our customer service team will direct you on how to send the faulty or wrong item back to us. If you are returning a faulty or wrong product, we will pay for any postage.

How do I find a specific item?
You can search for a specific item in the website by using the search bar found in the expanding menu at the top right corner of each web page.
The piece I want is no longer available, will there be more coming in stock?
Unfortunately if a piece is no longer available, it usually means we no longer have the specific fabric or the accessories to make it. Please send an email to [email protected] the product name you are looking for and we will do our best to try and locate it for you elsewhere, or at least help you to find a similar piece.
How will I know if you have received my order?
You will receive an order confirmation by email.
I placed an order but did not receive my confirmation e-mail.

No. We do not store credit card details not do we share financial details.
